These case studies are part of a project exploring the value of sharing data in the private sector. Businesses have been shown to have a range of challenges when it comes to sharing data. A significant barrier is a lack of understanding of how increasing access to data can create business value, e.g. by enabling new business models, increasing efficiency or reducing costs.
