2022 January update: Contact: Stakeholder Mapper, Stacia Nordin, NordinMalawi@gmail.com, (+265)999.333.073 or LLcityGG chair, LLcityGG@gmail.com. Lilongwe City Green Guardians (LLGG) is made up of people and organizations who are passionate about greening our city. We have a Terms of Reference with the Lilongwe City Council. We are liaising and overlapping with the newly forming Lilongwe City Environmental Working Group, which is more advisory whereas the LLGG is assisting on coordinating and action. We follow, but also advise on improving, LCC activities and guiding documents. The LLGG aims for representation and coordination with all 26 city wards and all the blocks/leaders/chiefs. This map helps us to achieve that. Anyone can view the map and search through it.
We are interested in mapping all Organic Agriculture-related stakeholders in Malawi, including non-certified, from the whole value cycle (inputs, production, processing, marketing, consumers, and byproducts back to inputs).
Mapping of agriculture sites & types, organisations and what support they provide. It is a fluid map that will likely change quarterly if we can manage it!
This is from a Sticky Studio for a 2024 March learning session on NDA SFS Positions/Guidance.
This is a trial for all Food Systems Stakeholders in MH & ZA who are willing to be on a learning stakeholder map. I hope to show you one way of knowing who is doing what and where in Zomba and Mangochi. The terminology is mostly based on the Nourish Food Systems framework. This has been sent to DAECC, DNCC, PHEMC, DESC, DCPC, and CSO network to try to capture the majority of people in the Food system. If there is anything we missed please contact me: Stacia Nordin, RD (+265)999-333-073
Mappers in Malawi helping mappers in Malawi. We are all in a private Facebook Group together. Members are from a variety of platforms - DAESS, District Food Systems, LLGG, Permaculture, or Agroecology. No matter the topic, we have skills that we can share with each other. Maps are for USING to make progress - and that means you need to use them frequently and continually update them with your team as needed. Let's use and share how we are progressing or are stuck and help each other. Contact Stacia Nordin on Messenger and introduce yourself it you want to join us.
