This is a forked and revised version of a group project lead by Systems Thinking World Inc. @SystemsWiki that sought to determine: "What constitutes a sustainable localized food system for a rural community? Source as local as possible from locally owned and operated to benefit the community."
This Kumu Project is a conceptual sandbox to create, develop and test ideas related to the creation of a California Doughnut Economy as envisioned through the establishment of Doughnut Economics as conceived by Kate Raworth.
This is a systems map of the New Community Paradigms Wiki http://newcommunityparadigms.pbworks.com/w/page/43840752/FrontPage%20for%20New%20Community%20Paradigms graphically displaying the variety of connection types between elements as direct, related or bridging.
Creating Public Policy under New Community Paradigms
This is a forked version of the Asynchronous Virtual Collaboration an interactive learning mode @Systemswiki has been pondering for years. "It is intended to be a method that enables a group of people to develop a shared understanding of a situation when they are distributed across the globe and are seldom if able to get together in anything representing a meeting of a majority of the participants. The development of this project is actually an Asynchronous Virtual Collaboration, or at least it is hoped to be." https://kumu.io/-/222677#map-AqLpQ6BN (leaves and opens in AVC model)
Part of Building Community Based Virtual Collaboration Project. Should be integrated with Better Deliberative and Participatory Democratic Community Based Governance through Systems Thinking https://kumu.io/-/2535#map-LeChF8bC
This model seeks to demonstrate how systems thinking might be incorporated into a process of deliberative and participatory governance of a community using a community based Virtual Systemic Inquiry methodology. Should be integrated with Community Based Virtual Collaboration https://kumu.io/-/17942#map-dAxzOrDU
Discussed in https://newcommunityparadigms.blogspot.com/2016/11/evaluation-through-logic-models-versus.html part of an ABCD perspective

A component of Addressing Plastic Pollution in Bangkok, Thailand - A Systems Practice Project
This was made possible in part because of my participation in the DD&ST or Dialogue, Deliberation and Systemic Transformation Community. The project and the maps that make it up reflect an end to certain journeying and exploration but not, as of yet, the attainment of a final destination.
Part of the Systems Practice project Addressing Homelessness, the course developed by The Omidyar Group and +Acumen helps anyone working on complex problems across any field of social change learn to use a Systems Practice to make sustainable social impact. This course will lead you through each step of understanding a system, analyzing it to find points of leverage, and learning how to adapt in a changing environment.
This class provided an introduction to the roles of individuals and associations in shaping our collective public life and the civic fabric of our towns, states, and countries. Sometimes this involves coming together to influence governing bodies such as city councils or public agencies; sometimes it focuses on doing the things your community wants but can't or won't get government to do.
